Last night I got back together with my actress Erin to shoot the final footage for my title sequence. It was suggested that their needed to be more of an introduction and development of Rosie's character in the first section of the sequence, showing why and how she goes 'off the rails' and portrays the negative stereotypes of young people. I have decided to show this by incorporating flash back style shots inbetween the footage of Rosie walking down the street. Ive included shots such as Rosie taking drugs, shots, smashing a bottle in an alley way and being passed out in a drunken state. With a further tweaking of the voice over script and the inclusion of these shots there should now be a greater connection and engagement between charatcer and audience so that they understand why her life has been turned into such a mess.
It was also suggeted that I needed to include a wider range of shots that were taken from further away than a long shot. We therefore shot two more pieces of footage of Rosie walking down the street from and extreme long shot position. This should hopefully increase my range of shots.
