The beginning of the final chapter

Today we have been introduced to our final project for our AS Media course. Our task is to produce a title sequence to a new film. In order to create an effective title sequence I need to think about  the following points:

• what genre I want my film to be 
• the conventions of a title sequence
• existing media institutions and distributors (e.g. Lionsgate), 
• the target audience 
• the social stereotypes that I will be representing 

With these points in mind I will hopefully produce a title sequence that is of high quality and demonstrates both what I have learnt over the course and my passion for media studies as a subject. 
My step from here is to start to look into the conventions of title sequences and choose a genre that I want my film to be.
